Some experiences ask to be met individually.

Some truths surface only when there is enough time, enough safety, and a single steady Companion. The Unforgetting Journey exists for these moments.

This is a one-on-one offering for people who feel drawn to explore their symptoms, emotions, and life experiences in a deeply personal and unhurried way. It is not clinical care, therapy, or coaching. It is a space for listening, for your body to express and for your Remembered Self to become embodied.

What the Journey Is

The Unforgetting Journey is a private, protected container where you are met exactly where you are with whatever is present in your life. The only agenda is to follow the wisdom of the body and listen, feel and explore.

Together, we listen to what your body is expressing and how your experiences, physical, emotional, relational, and environmental, are interconnected. We move slowly, allowing sensation, emotion, and meaning to emerge in their own time rather than being pushed toward an outcome.

The work unfolds at the pace of your nervous system, not a protocol.

This is not about fixing what is wrong. It is about understanding what is being communicated and restoring a relationship with yourself at a deeper level.

What Makes This Different

There is no advice given here. This is not a medical consultation. This is not therapy. This is self exploration. This is a container of loving to reconnect the parts of you that have been forgotten, disregarded, disconnected, dissociated, judged and dismissed and integrating them back into you through embodied experience.

This space is focused solely on you: your body, your emotions, your triggers, your story, all of it. There is no external interpretation or pressure to resolve or improve. This isn’t about fixing. This isn’t about using your mind, cognition or will power. This isn’t about shifting mindset or adding a new coping skill. This is deep work. This is where you meet your Remembered Self.

We simply follow the wisdom of the body. Many people describe this work as a remembering rather than a change, an experience of coming back into a relationship with themselves in a way that feels loving, light, coherent, grounded, and whole.

Who This Journey Is For

The Unforgetting Journey may be right for you if you are seeking depth rather than breadth, and if you sense that something in your experience wants to be listened to more closely.

This offering is often chosen by people who are:

Moving through a specific or complex life experience

Feeling stuck despite having done a great deal of personal or medical work

Drawn to embodied exploration rather than cognitive insight

Wanting to be met individually rather than in a group

No prior participation in The Unforgetting Project™ Foundational Program is required, though it may be valuable to have as a framework. If you have been working your process in other programs or paradigms and this work speaks to you, please consider applying.

Structure and Pacing

The structure of Unforgetting Journey is intentionally flexible. As each person is unique, each Journey is unique.

Sessions are extended in length, typically ranging from two to four hours, and are ideally held in person when possible. Together, we determine the pacing, frequency, and structure that feels appropriate for you.

Is This Right for Me?

The Unforgetting Journey is for those who sense that something within their experience wants to be listened to more closely, and who are willing to slow down enough to hear it.

This offering may be a good fit if you are seeking depth rather than answers, and if you feel drawn to embodied exploration rather than insight alone. Many people who choose this work have already done a great deal of personal, medical, or therapeutic work and sense that something essential has not yet been fully met.

You do not need to know what you want to work on in advance. You do not need to be “ready” or resolved. What matters most is a willingness to be present with your experience and to enter the process with curiosity rather than expectation.

If you are looking for diagnosis, treatment plans, or directive coaching, this may not be the right container. If you are looking for a space to be deeply listened to, without agenda, this work may resonate.

In-Person and Virtual Sessions

Whenever possible, Unforgetting Journeys are held in person, as the embodied and relational nature of the work often deepens through shared physical space.

That said, virtual sessions are available when in-person meetings are not feasible. While the experience may feel different, the essential elements of presence, pacing, and deep listening remain the same.

Together, we will determine what format best supports you, based on your location, needs, and the nature of what is unfolding.

Testimonials

unforgetting journey testimonial

What came from it went beyond anything I could have expected, in the best way.

“I’m a patient of Dr. McCann’s, and when she told me about the Unforgetting Journey, something in me felt intuitively drawn to explore this work with her. What came from it went beyond anything I could have expected, in the best way.

I’d done years of healing and personal growth work. I’d lived with chronic illness for a long time. I thought I was good at feeling my feelings and being in my body. What happened over those four hours showed me how much more there was, how much was still waiting to be expressed, witnessed, and held.

She began by guiding me into my body through breath and connection to myself. I was in tears before she’d even finished, as I felt into my body.

What followed was four hours of expression I’d never felt safe enough to let out: crying, screaming, stomping the floor, punching the pillow, and finally saying out loud the things I’d never allowed myself to say. It wasn’t a few tears or a little anger. It was my whole body expressing pain I had held for most of my life. Through all of it, Dr. McCann stayed completely present, speaking with me at times, sitting with me in it at other times, I never once felt judged. That presence was the thing that let me go that deep, that let me be that raw and unguarded.

What undid me was finally understanding what my body had been trying to say. Dr. McCann teaches you to see your symptoms not as something to fight, but as a story your body is telling, and in that session, I understood the story mine had been telling for years. Things I’d carried since I was young and things I’m living with now turned out to be deeply connected, part of the same thread.

I came home, and that night something settled that had been braced inside me for a very long time. It’s not that everything is suddenly different, but I walked out with the beginning of something I’d been missing for years: a sense of safety and trust I’d been looking for everywhere except inside myself.

There aren’t many people who can guide someone that deep and keep them that safe. If you’ve felt something in you asking for your attention, this work is a gift. You won’t walk out the same person, and you’ll be grateful you went.”

Changed my life in every way (EH)

“I’ve done a few Unforgetting Journeys with Dr. Kelly McCann, and I can honestly say they’ve changed my life in every way—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally. I’ve gotten so much out of this work, and it’s been one of the best things I’ve ever been able to receive. The space feels deeply safe and contained, and the experience is profoundly transformative. I walked in thinking I was just going to work on symptoms, but I walked out feeling like a different person—more grounded, more regulated, and more connected to myself than I’ve ever been.”

woman transcending

A decade of work in a few hours (EH)

“For me, the Unforgetting Journey was difficult at first because you really have to let your body speak, but it became a truly transcendent experience. It honestly felt like I got almost a decade of work in two or three hours—moving through different ages, different moments, and parts of my life I could never access before, even with other therapy and spiritual work. It’s almost like a spiritual EMDR, but held in an incredibly nurturing, safe space. You cry and laugh and feel everything, and you leave with a sense of completion that feels real in your body.”

Real physical changes (EH)

“What surprised me most is how physical this work is. I had chronic sinus infections and chronic congestion, and I haven’t had a single one since doing these journeys. I had ear issues that we explored, and I haven’t had problems since. Even the migraines, anxiety, and fear of driving have shifted—enough that I’m able to drive more again and be in conversation with my body in a way I never could before. I know it may sound unbelievable, but the changes have been tangible, and these journeys have done more for me than any medical intervention ever has.”
